Resident Consultations

The Management encourages residents to make known their wishes and preferences in all aspects of the Home’s organisation.  This would include such matters as times for getting up, breakfast and bed, dishes to be introduced or dropped from the menu, preferred activities and entertainment to be arranged, the temperature of the Home and so on.

 

Such matters can always be mentioned to a member of the care staff for transmission to the Manager. Alternatively, carers will arrange for the Manager to visit an individual resident to discuss them face to face.

Residents meetings are held every 12 weeks where residents are notified of changes and given the opportunity to discuss and put their views across about all aspects of home life.
